My Portrait

I have made my own face portrait, and the finished is product in my honest opinion is lacking. The rough edges and scribbly lines are all wanky in a way. The shades not really having any style, or features to it. The face itself is all blocking, unrealistic, and downright strange. And the eyes, are a whole another beast entirely. This is my most ammeter work ever and I must uses this piece to work through my flaws. But since the portrait accurately represents my face, I'll give it a ten out of ten.

Face of Scraps

The face of scraps is really just a piece of art that was just merely creative and fun. Honestly I can't draw that good, so I made this as a compromise and it was nice to do something abstract. I just use and cut out little scraps from newspapers and piece them all together to make a little face. There are the eyes, the nose, the giant mouth, the eyebrows, the face, and the little strand of "hair" to the right. The Face of Scraps doesn't really have any deeper meaning to it, it was little fun idea I wanted to try out, to test my level of creativity. Though compared to professionals in the field, my level of creativity could be very very low. However, with all that said and done the Face of Scarps was an fun little piece to just try out.
